From 6 to 9 September 2022, Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology trade fair (SMM) – the Leading International Trade Show for Shipbuilding, Marine and Maritime Industries was taken place in Hamburg. After having held SMM Digital successfully in February 2021 with free of charge conference and open streams the organizers went forward with SMM in September 2022, which became a live physical event again.
CMS’s procurement department reps joined the show as well. Their mission was to find new companies that can support company’s supply chain demands, as well as to make new contacts with partners and clients to be in advantageous position to improve business.
SMM offers many opportunities to maintain contacts and build up new ones. It is full of practical workshops, get-togethers as well as special events which bring people around a table with leading experts.
Four days, every two years, one place - SMM, the leading international trade fair for the maritime industry, collect decision-makers and industry professionals from all sectors.
This year SMM-2022 was participated by 50K professionals from 125 countries, and over 2000 stands were exhibited by different companies. SMM exhibited equipment, spare parts, high tech innovations for shipyards that serve both civil and military purposes.
